We are completely independant. As such we are unbiased, honest and able to follow our goals to promote skilled valeting and detailing to the public, indutsry and media, without fear of offending or upsetting a sponsor!
VALETING LAW AND REGULATION
Sadly, or happily depending on your perspective, the valeting industry is one of those that falls outside the remit of any direct laws and regulations.
There are certain laws that apply to industry and so valeting falls within these, but there is nothing aimed specifically at valeting.
There are a couple of 'bodies' around that claim to be a valeting association, but to date none of these have been given any governmental backing and so cannot carry much credence.
At present we, as far as we are aware, the largest body of valeters in this country, 85 members at the time of writing and growing on a daily basis.
Although we have no rules for our members and make no claims for ourselves, we are a group of people who have realised that by co-operating with one another we can pass each other work, discuss problems, the best way to tackle difficult jobs and situations and promote the professional side of this industry in the best interests of not only ourselves, but also you the consumer.
We aim to develop this site to demonstrate the best techniques and practice, that you should be looking for in your valeter, thus ensuring that you receive a professional and quality service.
